Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a G97/88 in my 996 turbo, will I need any upgrades for reliability? I have a 4.0 built motor on Alpha 3076 turbos. I've got a wavetrac and billet side diff cover to go on and of course the DSS axles, not sure if anything else is required? I know how much it costs to fix things after they are broken, so I'd rather spend the money now. I would like to eventually convert it back to AWD and fit the 997 font diff, I'm on syvecs so shouldn't be too difficult to get it working.
