Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, After much lusting after a 996 I have finally managed to get one, see pics. The dooryards were a bit rough and after much trolling in forums managed to spruce them up a bit with some boot polish- see photos, I thought I'd share as very happy with the outcome. Cheers and all the best Jamie

POST 3Original post

Nice job! Big payoff for such a simple little job

POST 5Original post

Nice car! I will tell you I've done the shoe polish route, and it works, for awhile. But check out the leather dyes available. Especially easy with black! I'll bet your console looks kind of beat up? Sand it smooth and refinish with leather dye and it'll look new. Work it into any worn areas on your seats and make your seats really pop.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks very much chaps - I'll have a look at the dyes I'm in the UK though and not widely available think an Amazon order will be required, hope everyone is well

POST 7Original post

There is a guy not far from me that can re-paint (connolise) parts of you interior. It will look like new.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ah I'll have a look at them thanks cheers mate I'm well smitten!!
