Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

... Buying stuff for a 996 that I don't even own yet. I got a smoking deal on a set of new 996 workshop manuals that I couldn't pass up. We have a set at the shop but its always good to have a set at home. So now they are sitting right next to the PSS9's I got last month with some other 996 stuff. I got to get serious about selling the 930 so I can buy a 996....This is getting out of control.

POST 2Original post

well you are all alone on THAT island my friend.....no one I know has any issues with buying things

Your "problem" will get worse once you own the 996... I just upgraded my steering wheel, and now my shifter **** looks really worn... so I ordered that... then I ended up ordering a new set of pedals... it's an addiction, really.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh my addiction has been blown for years now (it my career). The good news is I can get "stuff" for a Porsche cheaper than if I drove a Honda. That is the reason I am selling my 930. I plan on getting a 996 and selling my wifes car and getting a 04-05 Cayenne "S" to tow the race car (and I guess for her to drive). In my opinion the 996 is the best overall Porsche for the money.... I just talked one of our clients into one today.

POST 6Original post

I thought I was the only one with the issue... haha Well, I am trying to sell some stuff on the "for sale" section so I can get more stuff...
