Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I am trying to track down who the original manufacturer is for part# 996-561-027-00. It's a seal for the Cab top; It sits between the top and the A frame of the car (diagram below). Talked to a few different places and they all would have to order it from Porsche in Germany; hoping to short circuit that process if possible. My pops just got a 996 C2 drop top and its currently leaking (he's pretty disappointed it's his first Porsche). I'm hoping I can solve this for him faster then a multi week lead time and paying full freight. Thanks in advance if anyone knows .

Try Auto Atlanta, Sunset Porsche, Suncoast Porsche and see if they have one in stock.
