Bought a set of solid mounts that were for 996 Turbo. They are threaded, but the spoiler has the bayonet quick release. I stuck a 14mm bolt/nut in the connector and gave it a solid tug in the typicaly couter-clockwise direction. Wondering if the aluminum or stainles steel plugs are epoxied in or can be unscrewed. I saw a post recently that someone with an aftermarket wing needed a set. That leads me to believe they can be removed. Anyone with experience with these?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
