Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This may be the most worthless post ever, and I don't think even the die hard IMX freaks will be able to turn this into that type of thread. I have been out to dinner the last 2 weekends at nice restaurants and the Valets put the 996 in the prime valet spot in front. I asked about that tonight and valet said they don't see any of these type of cars this time of year. In Akron I see very few 911's, occ Ferraris and rare Lambo's. But only in nice weather. And when I think about it, I have not seen a Porsche, except a Cayenne, for the last several months. Hard top, AWD, and snow tires rule!

POST 2Original post

I would just pay and ask them if I could park it there. Then you don't have to let them drive your car. And BTW this is not even close to the most worthless post ever.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, the kid who brought my car up probably took more off the clutch in 30 sec than I have all year.

POST 4Original post

The kid should tip you for letting him get behind the wheel. Speaking of kids and parking, this will tie together...... Tonight my 22 yr. old son borrowed a suit and tie for a party at the casino and as he's standing in front of the mirror admiring himself he turns and says " Dad, all I need now is to pull up in a Porsche". (he's driven the C2 a few times) I say "Not happening, have a good time". I had to take my 15 yr. old to a Birthday party, he informed me at the last minute and of course he needed a Bday card and some of my limited cash. So I told him to get ready while I ran to the local CVS to grab a card. As I exit the store I see what looked like a school bus size Ford Explorer, rear bumper against the right front fender of my C2. I freeze and say out loud, "no, this can't be" as I slowly walk towards my car I see (you guessed it) a kid standing near the Explorer on his phone. He looks at me and I tell him he picked the wrong car to hit, he asks if I know whose car it is, yes I do, it's mine. I didn't flip out, no cursing or berating, just thanked him for not driving away and waited for his mother to arrive and contact her insurance company. Funny, in the end the kid was still visibly shaken to the point where I told him to "shake it off" and go about his evening as no one was hurt and the car can be fixed. Guarantee that my 22 yr. old will let me know that if I would have let him borrow the car it wouldn't have happened. Kids........ glad I remembered that once upon a time I was one too.

POST 5Original post

I pay the valet to park my own car at front, when I drop my daughter or my son to their friends house now I have the moms, opening the door and came out from the house with a smile from side to side to say Hi.

I am from Uniontown/hartville area. Grew up there! Live in Florida now.

POST 8Original post

You should stop down to Lucia's in Canton for a steak. Great food and a mature car enthusiast valet that parks my car in the prime spot and keeps the space beside open.
