Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I started a post about oil leaking around plug of IMSG... https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-ims-plug.html It was discovered that this oil was coming from above at transmission/engine junction. This lead to an ordeal(more on this later) that ended in a IMS solution package at Flat6(great outfit by the way...do it). I actually noticed this oil in 9/13 so had the above happened then I might have been in the suit and getting some cheese. Maybe there is still a shot. Long story short. While towing car to flat6 a strap broke and she rolled off the trailer(yea!WTF)...split the bumper...broke some brackets. The radiator and bumper share some brackets (one in particular...99650452401) which were damaged. (I'm thankful it wasnt worse believe me) I wonder if these brackets can be removed without draining cooling system? Any experience with this anybody? I'll see if I can post picture of broken one... So maybe I should have just drove the car there. I certainly wouldn't be in this situation but better safe than sorry. Somehow that adage doesn't make sense anymore. When the book is written about the 996 saga I have a chapter for "Wacky IMS debacles"
