Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Poking around for Ohlins for my C2 I came across these which are fairly new (January 2020) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083QFR335/?coliid=I3FONMX8RM5BE4&colid=MLRJNM7WSL94&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083QFR335/?coliid=I3FONMX8RM5BE4&colid=MLRJNM7WSL94&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Never heard of the company but they mostly seem to do Japanese cars. They are a 1/3 of the price of a set of Ohlins. I wonder who, if any name brand, actually makes them. And if they're any good. I may order them in a month or so, we'll see - just trying to get insight/opinions.

POST 2Original post

I saw those, still ordered with Feal set up, heard quite a few on here happy with the Feal set up. and talk to the sale manager he will ship for free. 3 weeks build time and they also rebuild systems.

POST 3Original post

Do not do it. These are designed to look nice the dampers will be awful and the range of motion will suck too. For that budget Koni shocks and H&R springs are the way to go.

POST 4Original post

I am not opposed to lower price coilovers but I would be unsure of those as Ive never heard of the company and for close to that money you could go with Feal, BC, etc. With the lower price alternative you are as much buying their theories on damping and spring rate, quality control, customer support, etc... And the only way to judge those aspects is through proven customer use and a more established company.

I'm not a big coil over guy I may just wait til Koni does their annual sale and get some Yellows and H&Rs

If you're ever in South Central MA, hit me up and I can give you a ride in my car with a corner balanced Ohlins setup if you're still thinking about them. They're pretty dope...

This is a solid plan and is probably far more capable than most drivers. If I had to choose itd be this or Ohlins. Mid price no name coil overs are in a lot of cases under engineered bling.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
