This has been brewing for a number of years. We wanted a chassis brace that would triangulate the front trunk area for added torsional stiffness. Think 935 racecar chassis brace. Easy enough. But just to make it interesting, we decided to integrate into the trim and upholstery such that it looks like it belongs. details here http://www.elephantracing.com/suspen...trut-brace.htm

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

sure look high quality and sexyyy
Well this just moved up to the top of my mod list for the summer. Any chance of a group buy on this here? I can definitely see this as a must have for 996.1 C2 owners with the weaker front tub.
There is no spare in the picture. Is that because you can no longer get the spare in/out with the brace?
Well that looks practical....
The spare is out to save weight. The spare does fit with the brace but the brace must be removed to get at it. The brace has quick release pins so it can be removed easily and without tools.

Thank you for clarifying! It's a very nice piece. Just wanted to make sure before I added it to the wishlist.
