After finding a hardtop on Craigslist for what seemed to be dirt cheap, I jumped in my 5 day old (to me) 996 and drove 6 hours straight thru the night to pick it up ( in the middle of the 6 hours back now). Really was looking for an excuse to drive some back roads in Tennessee and Georgia. The 996 did not disappoint. Now to get the top painted or wrapped somewhere.
Congrats, car looks to have a lot of potential. Love the wing and sideskirts. Any interior shots? I drove through KY on my way to St. Louis to acquire my first 911 a few weeks ago. Didn't drive any of my BMWs to go grab, but enjoyed the drive home to TN much the same way, cheers.
