Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I came home from the store and tried to open the frunk to get the items out. I can hear the solenoid moving with both the door switch and key fob but the lid will not release. I made sure it was fully closed. Of course when I had one of my radar detector sensors worked on the manual release is no longer behind the tow hook plug. Any ideas??

Have someone push down on the lid as if you were closing it while you activate the door switch or key fob.

Sorry, I should have mentioned I tried that also. My first thought was I did not close it fully. I also thought one of the bags might have been caught on the emergency release so I drove the car around the block to reset that. I can still hear the solenoid moving but the lid is not releasing. Edit: So I go to the garage to give the frunk another shot since she is holding my bottle of Jack hostage. Hit the frunk button on the key fob and pop the lid opens. No effing idea what happened in the three hour sit but she is working normal again.
