I'm looking to replace the clutch in my 02 996, I was looking at Sachs, but I find two different parts numbers. Any idea what the difference is between them, but they seem to be the same. The numbers are 99611691102 and K7029002. TIA -Jeff

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Are you referring to the complete clutch kit? It differs between the 3.4 and 3.6
Yes, clutch kit, since it in an 02, it's a 3.6.
I gave my parts guy 99611691102 and he was able to find the sachs clutch kit with that number. Just put it in last night so i know its right.
The K number is the Sachs part number for that clutch kit. We show both numbers. http://www.paragon-products.com/prod...116.911.02.htm
Yeah, as soon as I gave him the part # I had he said "that isn't a Sachs Part # " he figured it out...

That's what I thought, the long # is the Porsche part number, but many just list that #, not the K number. Thank you for confirming that for me.
I recently just put on the EPS clutch kit...feels very similar to stock and it's at a great price.
Remember that Porsche probably buys the exact same parts from Sachs, the don't make the parts, and has Sachs put them in a box that says Genuine Porsche, and sells them for 30%-50% more.
I'm very familiar with that, that's why I'm asking. I've found a $300 spread on the price of the clutch assay.
