Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just used some weatherstrip glue or sealant, cant remember the exact name, made by 3M I believe, dries fast and havent had a problem since.

Same issue, and will be going that route. I tried replacing it from a 2000 C4, but it was way too big. I didn't they were different but there was about 6" of extra rubber.
Used this to fix my seal. Worked great! 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive Tube, 5-Ounce, (08008) Amazon Amazon

It just lifts in the corners over time, my left side was really bad as well, right side was fine. I had the same issue and even tried to return my new one back to the dealership (thinking it was wrong) - which they refused because I had tried to install it (fair enough). So being stuck with it I tried it again and it actually does fit you need to space it out carefully so that it all fits in. I wasn't prepared to silicone it in at just over $100 well worth it and to be honest I don't think it will stick down that well because there isn't much to grip to. Lucky I didn't because it needed to be removed for some minor paint work.
