Hi, I'm new to the forums, and just purchased my first 996 (1999 Cabriolet). I was driving it today and realized that the "+" for the fan speed wasn't working. Everything else on the climate controls seems to be fine so far, but I can only get the "-" to work when in manual mode. Otherwise fan speed will go up on auto depending on what temperature I set it to. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or came across similar problems? Really appreciate any help anyone can offer me!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
