Hi all! First post - I have a 996 Targa (2003), and the fellow who owned it before me unfortunately had a remote start put in - the installers spliced into the OEM harness. I've cleaned this all up nicely, but I cannot figure out how to attach the immobilizer unit back to the floor. I have the correct plastic pins, but it doesn't seem to align with the holes in the floor. If anyone has instructions or a photo, I would be most grateful. Thanks! J.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I remember somewhere on the ECUDoctors website there was a video showing how to install a waterproof case for the immobilizer, remove and install the immobilizer. I did not look long enough to find the video, but here is a link to their website http://www.ecudoctors.com/
Oh awesome thanks! Their video shows the position of the immobilizer on the floor - I think this should be enough for me to put things in the right place. J.
