Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Complete plug and play. I've done it before. You just lose the self leveling function.
The factory Litronic headlights have an auto-leveling system, which is required to comply with federal law in the US. I'm not sure about Canada. This system has level sensors on the front and rear of the car's suspension. It would be less expensive to go with an aftermarket kit, but it wouldn't be a "true" Litronic system and you wouldn't have auto-leveling. If you choose this route, then you have to decide what color temperature you prefer for the HID bulbs. The factory bulbs are 4,300K, which is optimal for viability. Many people prefer whiter/bluer lights in the 5,000K - 6,000K range or more. They look very good, but you do give up some visibility compared to 4,300K bulbs.
