Does it take well over an hour to calibrate a cabrio top with a durametric scanner? I have a couple problems with my 99 cabrio, including a bad DME or immobilizer, and the top is out of calibration. I bought a durametric scanner, and thought I'd calibrate the top before sending the immobilizer/DME in for repair. The scanner showed no default codes for the top. When I tried calibrating the top, the green light on the cable started flashing, and the computer said calibration in progress. I left it to work on my old jeep, and could see the computer while working on the jeep. After an hour, it still said calibration in progress. Is it normal to take over an hour to calibrate? Thanks.

I have the hobby version it allows a max of three cars use and I cannot calibrate the top on my cabriolet . It can pull codes but no calibration .You might want to give them a call and ask.They will help if at all possible,or tell you if its not possible with the Durametric.
