So in washing/waxing/claybar'ing my 996TT last weekend i decided the black 'tape' ring around my rear glass was looking pretty shabby and removed it w/ a razor and some goo gone. Now you can see the black dots where the window tint meets the outer edges of the glass, before this black tape concealed it. I am wondering if this is an OEM tape (and if so where to order, didnt see it on suncoast) or something one of the previous owners did. I spent about 3-5 min looking at pics of 996s on GIS and didnt see any others sporting this either. Anyone familiar? I dont see any tape on mine? Can you draw where it is on the pic?
