Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My buddy had a little problem with his car...it appears they might be the same, but don't know for sure.

POST 2Original post

According to AutoAtlanta they have different part numbers so I assume something is different about them. 986: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=802-00 996: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=802-00 Edit: Looking at the pics the center area is cutout on the 986? Does it have a 3rd radiator? Edit 2: It does, but it has a 996 P/N... http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=105-17

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks gnat...it does not appear they have the same part number.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fenders aka wing. I looked up the fenders on autoatlanta and they are not the same part number.
