Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I'm loving my '99 Cab, but am having an intermittent issue with the auto-raise feature on my driver's side window (from triple-pressing the "window up" button). Sometimes when auto-raising the window, the window will stop halfway. I can press and hold the "window up" button and manually raise the window just fine, but the auto-raise doesn't seem to work until the window is down again. I've searched through other threads, and found a 997 thread mentioning that the "pinch sensor" may be getting triggered too early. Does anyone have any experience with that? Not a huge issue, but I just bought a SmartTop (from the guys at Vivid Racing), and because of the auto-raise issue, sometimes the driver's window won't close fully after the top goes up. Thanks in advance! Here's a pic for your time

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bump for any thoughts on the pinch sensor? Once I press-and-hold to raise the window up fully, the auto-raise begins working again.
