Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Everyone, We have a 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. I am attaching pictures of the headlight assemblies. We only need the corner pieces that are missing in the photos. If anyone out there has what we need, please contact Greg at [email removed] . Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you.

POST 2Original post

Those aren't corner pieces. Those lights are broken.

POST 4Original post

I agree...broken. How in the world did that happen to both lights?

POST 5Original post

One probably got chipped or dinged in parking lot rash, was filed smooth along the jagged edge, and the other was ground down to match...not surprising given the obscenely overpriced cost of new OEM replacements....

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We are aware that the light assembly is broken and that it is not a replaceable part. What we need, and want to buy is a trashed headlight that is not working and that would normally be thrown away, but that the corner part that is broken in the pictures is still intact. Please contact Greg at [phone removed] or email him at [email removed] . Thank you for your time and your help.

POST 8Original post

You could consider fitting headlight covers, one developed by a forum member is now at pelican. https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog...IGHTS_pg16.htm

POST 9Original post

Is your car black? If so I have a pair of covers you might be interested in. PM me if you want more info.

POST 10Original post

Not sure if its the angle but your RHS light looks like its missing the parking globe - its a H6W +996 on them both being broken
