Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Trying to do this but cannot get the cylinder out! I put the thick paper clip in the hole 2 inches but cylinder does not come out no matter what position I put the key in. The hole is in the 12 o'clock position but somewhere on the web, I read that it is supposed to be in the 7 o'clock position. IF that is correct HOW do I get it there? I have tried to just put the new ignition switch in from behind without pulling the cylinder but I cannot get it in.

POST 2Original post

If all youre trying to replace is the electrical switch, there are two small flat head screws holding it in places at the 5 and 7 oclock positions. I replaced mine a few days ago after watching the vid below and was pretty straight forward... You Tube
