Mine flew off (imagine that...with the mounting plate that just snaps into the holes) with the license plate. I got a new license plate, but if someone has one laying around that they don't use, i'd gladly take it. Otherwise i'll have to go to the dealership, I guess. I really want to like the tow hook solution, but I can't stand that it's off to the side but not really like an Evo or anything...neither here nor there.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Do they actually stop you in LA for not having a front license plate? I mean, I know it's California law, but they look ugly. I live in San Diego & have never used a front license plate on any of my cars. Infact, I've been driving my P-Car for over 4 months & have yet to even put a rear license plate, so no plates at all, & no problem.
Yes, they absolutely pull you over for that. I have been and the first time it is correctable but subsequent violations are larger fines, I believe

Never been pulled over for it, but definitely got a bunch of parking tickets in WEHO. I will look for mine, I just saw it a couple of days ago and remember thinking I should throw it away.
I got one from Suncoast - I think it was like $16 or so.

That's good to hear. Thanks. For some reason I thought it'd be hard to procure
If you tell the guy at the parts counter that you want to "procure" a license plate mount, he'll quote you $36. But if you tell him you want to "buy" one, he'll quote you $16.
Touch.. Or should I say ya got me!
