So a few days ago as I'm approaching what I thought was an empty dump truck from the left lane, they hit a bump and a spray of gravel goes out like a small meteor storm. Not as bad as hail, but now I have a half dozen small fresh paint chips on the front and passengers side. Probably too few, too small to worry about a full repaint, but it'd be nice if I could touch up so I don't have the tiny shiny aluminum spots bothering me. Anyone have recommendations for good touch up product and maybe clear-coat? Ocean Blue.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You can take your car to a auto paint store and they will sell you a pint of color matched to your car paint. I can't remember if I paid $20 or $40 the last time I did this. It's more paint than you need, but color matching technology is extremely good these days.
Dr. Color Chip works as well.

👆 Going to order this myself to have on hand. Our original paint softens over time making it more susceptible to chips. The Color Chip system is the simple answer to fix the chips you have and get it looking the way it did before. Good luck
So sorry to hear this. I had this happen in my VW Beetle a couple years ago and it sure makes me avoid driving behind the dump trucks now. Thankfully the '07 Beetle paint is darn near impossible to chip! Good luck on your touchups. I've never had much luck doing it myself and my experience (non-porsche) showed it looking worse IMO but I was young and clueless when I tried it.
Ordered the Dr. Colorchip kit, and found a code for 15% off. This looks like the best solution.
One of the things that makes the Dr. Color Chip compelling to me is the tiny brushes. It allowed me to build up the "hole" over time. The plastic scraper that comes with the kit is useful if the chip is very shallow, but I didn't find it helped with the deeper chips. YMMV.
