I was doing a search for something else awhile back and I came across a few threads that were pretty old talking about this orange cap people were ordering for free and it blocked off part of the airbox. Does anyone have any info on this? From what I read the company got hip to people asking for samples and they stopped giving them out. Any current rennlister that could shed some light on this would be appreciated. Where could I buy one of these orange caps? Edit: Here is a thread title from 2003 "Got those orange plugs 273-1P now what?"

Or you could beg borrow or steal one from a fellow rennlister and save yourself $225. IIRC Niagra Plastics would send 2 free sample caps with each request, so there are a lot of spare caps out there.

I got an orange cap a couple of years ago. It makes the intake sound at WOT but not much else. Someone here got a couple of PVC parts from Home Depot of Lowes and used them in place of the orange cap. I'll see if I can find that thread/post.
