Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

+1. Well said.

Yes, it's just the wheels...and everything behind the doors.
Haha, kinda what I was trying to get at. I've seen talk of "widebody conversions", but if that requires new panels and such, then that's really not much of a viable conversion.

Ding...+1. To covert is simply too much money. Why not simply buy a C4S? C.

Yea, those Turbos are sloooooow. Actually my C4 "felt" faster than my C4S, but I would never go back!!

If you're going to go widebody then this is the way to do it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...164166452&rd=1 As a side story: I was the high bidder on that car up until the reserve was met ($32K) but something just didn't sit right about the car's condition. Buyer left bad feedback and is seriously unhappy with the car.
I like the wide look myself....liked the hips of the 993, so the narrow 996 for me is too narrow. The wide to me is "ok"... Just my opinion.... RUF puts a turbo into a narrow car for max speed (aero issues). We cannot drive that fast on this side of the pond off a track.... JB

Heh, I just checked that out and the seller left this message as a reply to the unhappy buyer: Reply by suncoast-porsche (Nov-05-07 07:04): Customer knew about damage bought as is refused inspection now has buyer remorse

It's funny, I love the narrow-body looks because it's reminiscent of the original 911 - it has that same crisp, fast look. I was passed by a Zanzibar Red 3.4L yesterday on Lake Shore Drive and was reminded of that again. Everyone has chased the wide-body look so long everyone's forgotten what the designers were harking back to with the 996.

You know, that sums up my feelings, too. I like how my narrow-body C4 looks kind of like a late 60s Porsche, at least when the spoiler is down.

yes I agree... though our NB is wider than the older WB p-cars in measurments, for example my 3.4 is wider than a 964 turbo which is a WB.
