Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I get occasional electrical hiccups while driving, causes the stereo to drop the sound for a second etc. Any idea what could cause this?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The lamps also flicker so it's not just the stereo

POST 4Original post

A few questions. - Do you have PSM? - Do these hiccups occur when PSM is functioning? i.e. something is slipping?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No PSM or PASM, only ABS in my car. it occurs while driving slow as well as fast. I turn off the aircon so I doubt it's related to that kicking in.

POST 6Original post

Could it be a faulty ignition switch? I know that sounds weird but the ignition switches have a tendency to go bad and the first signs of that is intermittent problems with the car not wanting to start. Your symptoms did not indicate that issue, but it still could be the cause.
