Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone out there every bought this bumper or from this seller? The price is right but I'm concered about fitmet and quality. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=008

POST 2Original post

Not I but it's very nice looking. Someone will know. Paul

POST 3Original post

IMHO.. go with a better known company (i.e. techart, Misha, etc.). FRP is not the best material for bumpers...

POST 4Original post

You're better off with stock Porsche bumper covers. Most after-market stuff is fiberglass and cracks pretty easily.

POST 5Original post

You should get a polyurethane front bumper. It's the most likely part of your car body to experience impact with the ground. I'd rather scrape some urethane off than break the whole bumper.

POST 6Original post

DOtto on the polyurethane front bumper and polyurethane side skirts. They may get paint chipped and even dented but they won't crack like FG will.

POST 7Original post

I usually hate aftermarket bumpers, but I must admit that one looks good! Except take a look at the fitment of the fins on the blue car... Hmmm

POST 8Original post

Don't use fiberglass bumpers and side skirts unless you have no choice...here you do, so get the good stuff, Porsche OE or a quality manufacturer of polyurethane stuff

POST 9Original post

It looks ok, but if you can afford name brand go that way, They will fit better and not look so cheap.
