Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A 1999 nectarine over nephrite green (with red accents) 911. I am not kidding. I am serious that people should order cars like this. Way too many black, grey, silvers with boooooring interiors. While I may not want this color combo, I can dig the concept (especially since he went with a classic 911 color on the exterior). A car is meant to be fun and I am sure the dude that drove this giggled everytime he got in the car. If you have a car with this level of color customization, I might buy it. Especially if the exterior is either turquoise, mexico, or riviera blue (or any early 70's color). http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...TAFSRCHUSDTEXT

My next Porsche will be Signal or Viper Green, I think

POST 3Original post

That's really hideous. Go ahead and order one like that, then try to sell it. Yuck! I'll stick with my "boring" Atlas over black supple leather, thank you.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Justinmm2 - I agree. Signal, conda, viper, kelly, mexico, aubergine, riviera - you name it - all super cool. I plan on ordering my next one in one of those colors. Check out the 997 board, a gent ordered a turqoise blue 997s that looks incredible.

POST 5Original post

First I saw the post with the artist rendering of what the Panamera will look like, and now this. It has been a tough day on the stomach. As for the point, interesting colors are great. Ugly colors are still ugly.

POST 6Original post

i get it. it is a halloween joke. the interior looks like a gourd mated with a pumpkin and puked out a tomatillo. hideous. exterior is bearable.

POST 7Original post

Ugh.. think I just threw up in my mouth a little...

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Supposedly this was a 'listers car. I still think you have to appreciate the concept. The guy took more time figuring out the color of his vents than most people do their entire car. It is growing on me.... (hee hee). Ok, maybe not.

POST 9Original post

The tangerine on it's own could be kinda cool, but not that interior or those "accents".

POST 12Original post

At first glance the over the top colors look nice and different but, the novelty can wear off qwickly and can become an eye soar. I could never figure out why jet liners flight decks where so ugly always grey or beige color, they studied this and the reason is because they are easy on the eyes and not as fatiquing.

POST 13Original post

I'm pretty sure that based upon the interior, that the owner is affiliated with the Miami Dolphins.

POST 15Original post

I'd drive that. I love the exterior color... the interior is a little sketchy with the two-tone. If it was all green it would be tolerable.

POST 16Original post

I think I like it! You are all to negative and everybody is always thinking inside the box! I am glad someone had the guts to order something unique!! It's only too bad he couldn't just order a smoking jacket in those colors and wear it only inside his own house....who the hell (and what was he smoking or injecting, snorthing??) would order something this hidious...wait maybe he wanted to camouflage his ugliness by ordering an even uglier design.

POST 18Original post

Please pass me a tissue for my bleeding eyes.

POST 19Original post

I LOVE the outside, but HATE the inside. Orange with black would be so cool, or a lime green with black.

at least he put tinted windows on the car!

POST 24Original post

yikes man, I'm sure those colors look worse in person, I noticed the are taken in very bright light to tone down that auto nightmare.

POST 25Original post

OK, Tangerine I can maybe see, kinda red, kinda orange. But what makes someone get a mint green interior with that color exterior?? Tan would make sense. Natural brown maybe, black - sure. But vomit green? About as nice looking as that freaky dude wearing the tangerine one-piece!

POST 26Original post

It would make a good track car. If you rolled it, you really wouldn't be that upset.

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 4715467

... in fact, most here would be happy if that happened!

POST 28Original post

Quotes source post: 4715467

Any self-respecting paddock full of car junkies would burn it before you had a chance to roll it.

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 4715835

Maybe we could ask Chuck how to do that!

POST 30Original post

Actually we have a few roll and burn guys here... I'm just saying.

POST 31Original post

Quotes source post: 4715931

......unfortunately it was not that car

POST 33Original post

That's just wrong! I'd rather drive primered 911 with a gutted interior. To each his own.

POST 34Original post

Clown car. Good luck with the sale, I'm guessing you'll get $23,000?

POST 35Original post

Quotes source post: 4715467

Ditto. Strip the interior out and burn it, cage it, race seats - not too bad.

POST 36Original post

Apparently, this lovely specimen is waiting at my local dealer.. just might have to check it out to see if it's as vomit inducing in person. - Nick

POST 37 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nick - if you go to the dealer. Find out the story. My guess is ex nfl-er who played early in his career for miami. Now plays for broncos....
