Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, I want to buy a set of coilovers for my 2001 C2 996. I never use it on the track and want the coilovers for lowering the car and to dial in some front rake, and give a proper ride with the car. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the K sport coilovers or knowledge. I know that the Pss9's and H&R are very respected brands and work well, However this is my 2nd car and I do not want to invest more than I need for something that is for looks foremost. All help and comments will be helpful. Russ

KSPORT-Take That Thank you for your reply. I realize that for $600 more to get the Pss9's its worth it being all the good feedback they had. Russ

You may even want to look at the base model H&R's...I think they're cheaper than the PSS9's and if you don't need an adjustable damper they might fit the bill...spring rates on the standard H*R's are in line with PSS9's as should be the ride. Although soo many people have the PSS9's that it's hard to argue with something that's soo well liked. Andy
