Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just watched the Leguna Seca race on Speed, and what an epic battle between Audi's R10 turbo diesel and Porsche's RS Spyder. The Audi competed in LMP1 and the Porsche was in LMP2, with different power and weight restrictions, etc. but it was so fascinating to watch the Audi pull away in the straights w/ all that power, then to see the lighter and less powerful Porsche late break into the corners and attempt to pass in the turns- what phenomenal drivers and what an exciting 1,000 mile race! They finished within secconds of each other. Audi won. Apparently, my '02 C4 cab will do 174 mph, and I have a pair of Audi S8 quattros. They're both speed-limited to 155 mph (which I've happened to hit while returning from a visit w/ friends in Santa Fe), but I understand that if I were to remove the speed limiter the S8 will do 186 mph. Hmm...l might just have to experiment. The P-car sure seems to accelerate faster than my S8, but I can't carry nearly the number of passengers or cargo for the ride. I guess it's nice to have options- everyone that is reading this should take a moment to remind yourself how fortunate you are to be driving the quality car(s) that you have. We are truly fortunate!

POST 2Original post

In 3 weeks, I'll have the new S4! It will be a race to see whether the Porsche or the Audi gets into the garage faster.

The Porsche will always win..... because it never leaves the garage!
