I'm two weeks into ownership of my first 996, and after driving it close to 100 miles now, I thought the right front sway bar link probably needed to be replaced. This evening I got it in the garage and jacked it up to take a look, and once I got the right front wheel off, I noticed quite a bit of fluid (see pics). Not sure what fluid this is. Looks kinda green-ish. My sense of smell is very bad, so I can't do a smell test. What do you think this is? Steering fluid? Leaking strut? Coolant? Other? Thanks in advance for the help! Mike

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, something else I noticed is that both front struts don't have a bump stop. Shouldn't they have one?
Most likely shock oil... if so they r done. The power steerjng fluid is also green so if the level is good its probably not that but it could be coming from the rack.
