OK so it's done and all my money for this year that I can spend on my Porsche is spent. But the end result I love So below are some pictures of the new setup. I have also put at the bottom pictures of the new wheels prior to the suspension done and the 'ghetto' wheels that came with the car when I bought it, so that you can see the transformation (btw...the ghetto wheels are now officially for sale). The wheels are OZ Racing Superleggera III with the black inserts. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sports. Suspension is H&R Sport Springs (Ok before I get beat-up about these springs, I do intend to get the PSS9 but again my funds have been exhausted and I did not want to roll around this year with the new wheels at the stock height. So these are temporary...again temporary, next year I will get the PSS9 and sway bars, but as of now the result of how the car looks paid of). Front: 19x8.5 with 235/35 ET49 Rear: 19x10 with 275/30 ET53 Additonal Information: I measured from the ground to the bottom of the fender lip with the new wheels on prior to the springs being installed and after the springs were installed. Front: Pre = 26 3/4" Post = 25 7/8" Rear: Pre = 26 5/8" Post = 25 7/8" You will notice that pre springs, the rear was a little lower than the front, but after the springs it leveled out. Now it will probably settle some more over the next few times I drive it so I will do more measurements. Now for the thank you's: Damon at the Tire Rack for making this happen and working with me on possible configrations and ultimately changing how the car looks....Damon you Benjamin Choi for his input and assistance....you too Shark Werks in Fremont for installing the springs and taking care of my baby Plus those that had input on my previous thread about what Wheels, Tyres and Suspension to get. So now the pictures:

heh much better! nice!
Steven - I have not been a big fan of painted wheels, but on a SY car they look good! What a transformation! You car l@@ks GREAT! Good job!
TY
It was a very tough decision for me to go to a painted center, but like you said, with SY it works. Thanks.
Steven, your car looks fantastic. I love the painted centers. I want to do the same to wifey's SL.
Car looks fantastic !!!!!
Steven-Damn, nice job. Your car looks so much better. Nice choice of wheels.
Holy F. That car is hot no bull ishin.
Brudda mang, you know you did it up right. Drop it like it's hot. That's an amazing looking 911 you got there. OZ 3s are top-shelf wheels, fully forged, centers in black straight from Italy. Can't nobody hate. Props to you and enjoy the panties dropping left and right. Life is too short to stay stock. Peace, Ben
oh yes, Im feelin it!!!

TY to all of you that have repsonded so far, it is greatly appreciated.

Looking at these gorgeous C2 MKI Aeros make me want one!
very nice mods..... i like it...!
Looks awesome! I will have my wheels on today!
Sits back, puts hands behind head, smiles, cracks open a cold one......... I think it looks fantastic. We built the part number for the back wheels just for Steve and I think the offset is perfect. I'm glad you guys, and most importantly, Steve agree. And thanks Ben for helping me talk him into it!
Wow - you REALLY improved the look of that car - it looks fantastic lowered with those black rims. Nicely done!!!
Damon, I drove the car around for the last couple of days, met with friends and co-workers, and all have complemented me on the 'new' look of the car, all said it now looks like a Porsche that it is meant to be and looks fast just sitting there. Thanks again. Steven
Fantastic choice of wheels...great minds think alike
Sweeeet...nice ride and yes of course nice wheels
Good job Damon... car really does look the business now!
hey steven it was our pleasure and the car really did come out nicely. Great stance and those wheels are night and day Great choice. There's actually a GT700 TT here with those very same wheels....
Yo ross did you have tirerack disassemble those wheels to repaint it with the shiny finish (looks great) or did you have the paint shop do it?
Got them that way from FVD...sale item. Got the rubber from Damon
fyi tirerack always uses new oz titanium bolts and is torqued by this $25K machine in a special sequence - the bolts stretch i prefer the shiny finish over the matte black for sure - i wish tirerack/oz would switch it up or offer the option of the shiny black finish
Yeah shiny would look nice too...maybe I throw some good polish on mine and see what they look like. I hear you about the bolts and torque sequence, too much at risk if not done with the correct machine. Street driven maybe OK, still risky though, but racing with them not sure if I would risk it IMO.
