Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took the Cab to a guy for an under-carriage cleaning and look at the present we found on the bottom. That's right, under paneled from front to rear. We honestly did not know. The shop that did the PPI did not bring it up but it does help explain why the car is so, so smooth at high speeds.

POST 2Original post

Yeah Porsche started cleaning up the underside of the 911 with the type 964.

POST 3Original post

what city in OK are you located? Would like to see your P in person.

POST 4Original post

I bet you would! Some may be a bit hesitant to give out that info to a stranger on the interweb.

POST 5Original post

that's why it's sooooo smooth...........looks nice.....

POST 6Original post

He didnt bring it up because that is factory (regarding the plastic undercarriage panels). Only the engine cover is not factory.

POST 7Original post

i can assure yout they are all that smooth the engine cover is only for parking block protection

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am now seeing that I assumed something more than it was. I never would have never thought that was an oem design. The Okl plate is from the old registration and is the only reason I did not block it out. If you want to see the car I am in the North Texas area.

POST 9Original post

As Brad (99firehawk) said, they all have that bottom. However, the engine protection plate is not standard and was either added as an option on the car or added after the car was delivered to the owner.

POST 10Original post

not an option not even a tequimpent from porsche, we install them we get them from the aftermarket
