I have a 996 3.4 with Gemballa Headers, Mufflers and Cat Bypass At low RPM's it has a very tinny sound, almost ricer car like . frankly I hate it !! I've been told this would most probably be caused by my Cat Bypass pipes Can anyone shed any light on this for me. .. do Cat Pypass pipes make it sound more tinny / hollow ? Will fitting cats return more of the original note ? Please Help me with your suggestions

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Did you just put it in? The stainless takes a few heat cycles to settle and it will then sound a little better. BTW, I don't like how mine sounds at low RPMs, but when it is screaming on the track, I get lots of compliments.
Hi Ed, had it for a few weeks now, At high RPM's absolutely love it .. screamer on the freeways low rpm's is what worries me though .. I'll post some pics shortly Cheers
