My headlamps are "lighting" only about 1/4th of the time when I turn on the headlamp switch. Once lit they work fine. Any idea what is wrong?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Sounds like your "ignitors" (at least that's what my dealer called them) are going bad. It happened on my car (under warranty) and I got two new headlights out of the deal.
One headlight or both? High beam , low beam, both? Problems with blinker speed? More info is better than less.
Thanks. Both headlamps at startup on low beam.
Then it's not the ignitor. There is a separate one in each light. Too coincidental for both to go at the same time. What both sides do have in common though, is some wiring and the light switches. Since switches are beaucoup more pesky than wires, that's my pick.
i vote headlight siwtch/.........................or ign switch
