Hi Guys, MAF went bad and need to buy a new one. Looking at my old MAF I have Part #: 996.606.124.00 Pelican selling for $312.00 ouch, will i need a Porsche dealer to callibrate this? Heard a few things on the boxster forum that newer MAF need dealer callibration, wanted to make sure with you guys and if you have any experince with this one. Heres Pelican's Discription: Air Mass Sensor, For Cars With M620 E-Accelerator, 996 Carrera 4 (1998-01), 996 Turbo (2001-05), Boxster/Boxster S (1997-04). Thanks for all of your help! Alex

$312 doesn't sound bad to me. List is $410 and a lot of stealers where I live charge 50% markUP. If you go for any of the newer MAFs that supercede this one, you will have to pay extra to get your dealer to reprogram to the newer versions since they give different readings. You also have PM.
