Hey everybody, I'm new at this... just got 996 and installed HRcoil over, strut bar, 19"wheels, front GT3 EOM Bumper and side skirts, the car is awesome! I'm so happy I still walk backward everytime I get out of it to go whatever I'm going. Usually another excuse to go to the market... okay, this is idiotic. I was autocrossing on Saturday (Fontana Speedway) and after 7 runs with few minutes intervals each, I've noticed a very loud wining sound coming from both front wheels... let me explain: The fans were on off course, but with the fans there was this higher pitch wine that sounds like a pump or a tiny vacuum cleaner, the sound was coming from behind the front wheels. btween the shocks and the bumper and you could hear it even when parked with the motor on... I drive a Tip (3 radiators). I decided to go home and the sound persisted all the way home (1 hr trip at about 55mph). After parking the car for a couple of hrs, started the engine and... no more sound. I was told that it could be that the fluids got too hot and were running too thin, I guess the abs/brakes fluid and steering share the same fluids? Help if you can Ciao

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question - just wanted to say your car looks awesome! I'm considering doing pretty much the same thing - lowered slightly (with pss9's prob), GT3 bumper and side-skirts, and some mean wheels. Your car looks perfect..
Thank you so much... I was worried at first to go with 19s but I'm glad I did...
