Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is there any one out there with a quad exhaust tip set-up? I'm not referring to the tip from the C4S, but something that would look more like the 997 S models (each tip is independent and not blended together). I know this yields no performance gains, but the quad tip look is "in" (the M's, AMG's, etc. ). If I do get an aftermarket exhaust, I would like to get some tips to complete the look. I know this look may not appeal to everyone so if we have a difference of opinion, please keep the replies civil. Thanks in advance.

there is a guy selling quad tips for 996 non Turbo on EBAY. Keywords: Porsche exhaust/muffler. Good luck!!!

Cargraphic is looking pretty good right now. Now I just to find out who might carry these tips. #5 is what I was looking for. Found another picture of a cargraphic show car with twin tips that look a little different too.

POST 5Original post

EVO MOTORSPORTS I think has them for like $300. I saw an ad in the Nov Excellence magazine. I dont know the website...but google around I am sure you will find it. It s pretty much what you are looking for.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is what I found on EVOMS.com http://www.evoms.com/marketplace/Vie...rentID=#photos The price on the website is $595. Let me know if you have a link to the $300 ones. Thanks.

POST 8Original post

Check with Global Motorsports Group at gmgracing.com, if Fabryce isn't there, then one of the other guys can probably help you. They carry a nice inventory of Cargraphic parts.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Stuart. Been to the old GMG shop but not the new one yet. Definitely need to drop by there and check it out. $800 for tips is a little steep for the impulse buy though.

POST 10Original post

dang $595?? I think those are the ones I saw....I didnt know they were that expensive. Sorry...sheesh! I kinda like the quad tips too...if you can find them cheaper please share...I may join you and switch mine over too.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No worries. I'll keep this thread alive until I get the quad tips.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think the EVOMS ones above are for the 997. Here's another one that I found from GMP Performance. They are $940 though. Ouch. Maybe its just suppy and demand. Low supply and no demand...

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

tt. Gotta keep this thread alive.

POST 14Original post

damn,,,,,,,, tips are expensive...... has anyone tried looking into the muffler shops and see what they can fab for you....... it JUST might be much less...........

The Speedart ones look the best. I went PSE and was hoping to do the quad exhaust too until the prices slowed me down. One thing I have wondered about is the backpressure and it's another reason I liked the Speedart ones. Some of these quad tips seem to split the exhaust via two very sharp bends, maybe not 90 degrees but sharp and then into the two holes. Maybe I'm splitting hairs here but if your headers had a turn that severe we would all be badmouthing them. Just a thought, quad tips look nice no doubt.
