Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone purchased an aftermarket warranty? I recently purchased a 1999 c2 with 29k miles from and individual so factory warranty is long gone and CPO is not an option. No clear results searching forums for "aftermarket warranty" so I thought I'd try a post. Tried google and found warrantydirect.com but they don't offer any warranties for cars that old. I appreciate any imput for those who have investigated or purchased these aftermarket drive-train warranties. Thanks, Jack

POST 2Original post

I have GE plan that I bought through the dealer I got my car from. When my engine went, we had to jump through hoops just to get them to cover it, they also didnt cover the core charge

POST 3Original post

i thought you could only buy e warr through a dealer at the time of purchase.
