Ok Guys, I have a new question that needs answerin'.... What is the cheesiest piece of Porsche paraphernalia that you guys have or have bought (or received as gift) and have since discarded after coming to your senses? For me I think my collection of 5 hats that I bought during the first weeks of ownership and as giveaways for volunteering during club races. How many hats can I wear?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you worked at my company, you'd know the answer is "no less than 20".
I have a Porsche cap which I wear proudly along with my Fountain cap. I've also got a glass 911 that shows the insides of the car. I have a bunch of misc. parts from past cars, emblems, etc.
bought leather driving gloves for my dad. Porsche motorsport rugby for myself, still havn't gotten around 2 gettin the black bathrobe but i will. Also as many posters and DVD's as a sane person can have. Oh..and a hat or 2
CGT mouse pad. This was a couple of years ago, and purchased by my soon to be wife. So I "loved" it into an early grave.
^ sweet! is it a porsche driver's selection mousepad? Where'd u get it? also, congratulations on killing off ur free wheelin batchelorhood.
I used to have this great plain t-shirt with a little tiny crest on it. I have not seen one like it for years. It was very cool looking without being austentacious. I remember my wife bought me a silver 930 keychain when I had that car. I still have it somewhere. As far as cheesy stuff, I guess I never got any. I see that stuff in catalogs and think, "that looks nice, but I cannot buy it."
I got the black robe last year for Father's day. I feel like tony soprano when I wear it though. When the UPS guy wakes you up at 8 and you are wearing the darth vader suit, you feel a little silly. It is pretty damn soft and goes well with the Porsche Avon cologne I bought off ebay on a late night shopping spree.........then there are the banners, the rug, clock....ok you get the picture. I could have owned a 997 GT3 if I had not "invested" in all that crap!
It was a gift for our daughter it's the thought that counts right?
a $100 lighter
for 200$ cigars no doubt
That stupid Porsche Bear wearing the racing outfit (complete with a "pit-pass"). It was for my son, not me...
My 'Members Only' Porsche jacket I wore in the mid 80's with matching head band and skinny tie while listening to my Sony Walkman and Pretty in Pink soundtrack on tape.
a bunch of posters for the garage, and I have recieved a mug, and pen from family

perfect lap wins.
I've owned a Porsche continuously since 1974, so I have accumulated a lot of Porsche cr@p. I've got dozens of hats with crests, T-shirts with crests, embroidered logos, silk-screened pictures, half a dozen fleece sweaters with embroidered logos, many jackets - winter & summer, a shelf full of books, a shed full of parts & accessories for Porsches I no longer own, dozens of scale models of Porsches I have owned and wished I had owned ... and that's nothing compared to the motorcycle paraphernalia! Im not responsible for buying all of this stuff - it's what you get for father's day/birthday/christmas, or for volunteer work or whatever, when people know you're a sucker for Porsche. Something for the younger guys to look forward to.
Oh, I forgot about the Porsche Design watch and sunglasses. I think those were expensive, and I actually like them.
I have a set of the very expensive Porsche design pens made from the braided steel fuel pipe. They are so uncomfortable in the hand that you take them out of the box, write one word, put them back and start wondering who would you give them too.
Oh, and two more pieces of Porsche cr@p I no longer own - a 1981 924 Turbo, and a 1988 928S4. I loved both of those cars dearly, but they were absolute cr@p! My 1961 Beetle with Porsche Super 90 engine that I owned in college was also cr@p, but only partly Porsche.
