Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I am having my 996TT delivered Friday. Having never owned a 'stock' TT, I have some questions about the wheels. It is coming with stock 18" / hollow / turbo twist wheels. Should I expect to see wheel spacers? I need to know if I will need to buy spacers for my all-season wheels / tires, which I already own. Currently they are on my C4S with spacers. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

996TT and C4S have the same wheel offsets. The stock wheels don't use spacers.

Generally, people use them for aesthetics reasons, pushes the wheel out and fills out the fender more.

Just to be clear, the stock Twists don't use spacers. You could option the car with technos which did come stock with spacers on turbo cars.
