Since I am still a Newbie on the site with a meager 67 posts (will try harder!), I am trying to figure out how to do a post that leads in with the "Quote" and then the quote is in a grey box, followed by what my response would be. Just trying to be a more effective poster!! Thanks, as I am sure its really simple, I just couldnt find it. PS: Go Bengals on our first Sunday Night football in like 50 years!! PSS: I think most of our players are out of jail and will be attending the game

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

You mean like this? Look at the bottom right of this post and you'll see some quote marks displayed like this Click on these to include the post as a quote. Chris.
Chris That will include the whole post as a quote, right? What if you only want to quote part of the previous post? On some of the lengthy posts, it seems like quoting a particular part of the post is the way to go when you want to respond to one certain statement, question or comment.
Yes, it will include the entire post. However, I kept your first question and deleted all of the remaoning stuff as indicated by the three "dots" (periods). Again you can delete the part(s) of the post you don't want to include and signify the deleted part with three "dots" (periods) as I have done immediately above. I deleted the first sentence and half of the last sentence, this time indicated by two sets of three "dots" (periods).
