Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For a coolant tank replacement, on a C4S; will the motor only lower so far until it stops (Bellhousing on tranny hits the rear suspension crossbar). I am thinking I just lower until I get to that point and then raise a hair. As far as removing the tank, how does the end closest to the rear seats disconnect. I read when putting in, it will click which makes me think there is someplace I need to press to unrelease. I can't see anything but maybe I am just looking in the wrong spot. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

There is a holder it slides into on the top about 6 from the 10mm but that holds it in place it slides towards the engine ther isnt anything closer to the seats that holds it

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. Does it just slide in or is it locked in somehow. Just wondering if I just pull towards engine or if I have to release a bracket first.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How about lowering? Is what I wrote above correct?
