Looking for leads, advice, perspective... My '00 is Ocean Blue with a graphite interior. The seats, the driver's in particular, are showing their age, as this colour tends to do. In addition, there is track wear on the driver's side that makes the seat feel a bit loose. I want to freshen these up, but the cost of new tracks plus new upholstery is north of silly. I would looooove a set of hardback sport seats, but they're nearly impossible to find in graphite. Anybody had this dilemma? Is there an option that I'm missing? Thanks...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

a gent with a C4S in my area had some recaro comfort sport seats installed and they looked beyond awsome in his car. talk to recaro about getting em.
Any idea where he got them, DeAd-EyE? I'm in Toronto, too.
wish i could help ya bud but its been a while since i saw him. honestly u can just call any recaro USA supplier and it would be cheaper i think.
If you go on Ebay and search on porsche 996 seats there are 6-8 seats on sale now in varying styles and colors. If you don't mind black seats here is a nice sport set out of a GT3 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...Q5fAccessories Keep an eye on Ebay, you see them there all the time.

Are you sure? I thought the Comfort Sport Seats were o.e. only? Be great if they were available aftermarket...

I've seen one graphite pair in the last two years, and I lost them by being a cocky bidder. Never seen another. I've been in regular touch with LA Porsche, too, and they confirm these are pretty rare. I don't think I'd like black seats in that interior, though if someone's done it I'd be fascinated to see a pic...

Gert at Carnewal sells similar ones to these for 2290 Euros a pair, brackets included. Interesting option.
