I’m looking at a 996(99, manual, coupe, Aerokit) and it has the strangest steering wheel. Anyone ever seen one of these? I think it’s a bit ugly.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks like a knock off Gemballa wheel.
Not sure what that is, but it is easy to swap them out. I prefer the gt2/gt3 steering wheel personally.
I have a 4 spoke from a parted out Boxster that would look better in my opinion.
raid smaller diameter...thicker....
What kind of steering wheel is this? UGLY!
Carnewal used to sell (or not) a bunch of different steering wheels like that one... maybe thats why they dont carry them any more...😉
Looks like an Aitwe. They made RUF steerting wheels at one time as well. If you get it you will need the appropriate hubs adapter as well.
Raid is the same company as Atiwe. They supplied the airbag steering wheels for Ruf, Gemballa, Techart, FVD…. There were 3 different diameters while the airbag unit was always the same. Some years ago, they stopped making airbag steering wheels after the manufacturer of the airbags went bankrupt. We sold the standard range of these steering wheels whereas the German tuners sold their custom made versions. True, not all of these were great looking, like the 365mm steering wheel in the first post. The good news is that you can easily swap the steering wheel with another one while retaining the hub aka boss kit We did however sold some very nice looking steering wheels back in the days .
^^^I was about to say Ruf...that answers it.
