Hi, Can anyone make any recommendations on where to find/buy aftermarket parts for the early 996 C4 Cab in Hong Kong? I'm going to be here for a few more months before moving back to Japan and I'm sure parts are cheaper here. Things I'm looking for are like carbon fibre side (CF) mirror covers and hood, CF interior, may go as crazy as for aero parts too. Cheers! Sean
Guess this will remain unanswered forever. Let me step up here. From experience told, I ordered my parts overseas. There are seldomly any parts made here, unless you want some low quality body kit, which I am afraid not what you are after. desgin911 has a rep office here, so you can tell it by yourself. good luck.
Get the parts shipped in from the U.S. or from Gert at Carnewal. No import duties or sales taxes in HK.
Cheers for the response guys. That's a pity :-(. Reason being is that I'm here in HK for a project and I move back to Tokyo (which is where my car is) soon in the next 2 months. So I was hoping to get some stuff here and ship it with the rest of my stuff back to Tokyo. If I have to buy overseas, I guess I may as well ship straight to Tokyo then. Thx!
