After 3 air-cooled, it was time for my first water-cooled Porsche
So, after some search, I was lucky to find a 2 owner car, with only 94.000 km on the clock.
A 2003 996 Carrera MK2 Manual, no suprise here... But this car was one out of 10, ordered by Porsche Sweden to promote the 2. generation of the 996
So it was pulled of the production line (09991) and installed with the X51 Power Pack, sport suspension, red seat belts, sport seats, 18" wheels etc.
Never been driven in the winther, and full service records.
Was lucky to trace the last owner, who owned the car since 2006 and sold to buy another with PDK due to a bad knee..

The X51 Power Pack was far more than a simple remap. It consisted of an intake manifold with a modified cross-section; unique exhaust manifolds with a larger cross-section to optimise gas flow; cylinder heads with optimised inlets; camshafts with larger inlet valve stroke plus modified inlet and outlet timing; uprated inlet valve springs; modified partition box in the oil sump; plus a modified ECU map.
The other upgrade is Sports suspension which is lowered by 10mm and firmed-up to improve the handling, which is further aided by Porsche Stability Management system.

- new underside panel in the transmission area?
While researching my x51 targa, I found I had a gt2 underside panel. It was broke, and I noticed it wasn't like the stock 996 part I bought to replace It. It has air vents directing air up at transmission. I read in a post from Loren, that this panel is also part of the 996.2 x51 hardware.
also, x51 has 3rd radiator unless car is a 4S.😎

Congrats! Looks like a beauty... I bought my first 996 a little over 4 years ago. It�s now got a FSI 3.8l stage II engine it it as well as a bunch of other updates/upgrades. I�m not planning on parting with it...
