Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I would like to know: If you had the option to paint your calipers - would you?

POST 4Original post

I just painted them red, well halfway, I still have to do the fronts, lol.

POST 5Original post

FWIW, you can paint them any color you want - not just red. I would guess that almost everyone that paints their calipers does so for aesthetic reasons and not to look like an S specifically. Red just so happens to be very popular -td

POST 14Original post

Hey Tim, as far as Hondas go, yours looks pretty damned nice to me !

POST 15Original post

I never understood the need to paint a caliper. Why don't you paint your wheelwells red, too?

It will look faster if he puts a "taco" on it....

POST 17Original post

Andy, thanks for the kind words. Ray, I can't do that because then everyone will mistake my sig and Wayne's (Wellardmac) sig since he is adding a "taco" soon. Plus, if I add a "taco" on the Honda, I am afraid the car won't have enough HP to overcome the increased downforce and drag and it will not move at all. Then I will be just like Phil, sitting in my car in the driveway, making vroom vroom sounds.

Well - it looks pretty obvious to me that a majority of us have red caliper envy. oh, and yeah...ah hum... and some think we are posers.
