Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I ordered my new wheels today from Wheels Boutique, I want to thank everyone for their advice. I ended up with HRE 574R 19's (polished) Ben was a great help and gave me what I believe was a good deal. enclosed is a picture of the wheels on a 996TT. These wheels are massive the rears are 315-25-19 (alittle beef) Unfortunatly I won't see them of 30-40 days. __________________

POST 2Original post

Holy crap those are sweet! 315? I didn't think they would even fit on a C4S!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I asked the same thing. My car is also lowered, so it will be interesting when I get them on. Oh and yes there will be pictures taken

POST 5Original post

Mike - those wheels are so hot, they make your car look like a totally different color... oh, wait, that's not really your.... that pic was just an example.... now I get it! Seriously, nice wheels. We are going to need a LOT of pics once you get them mounted.

POST 6Original post

315s do fit on a C4S, I've got that size on my car With lowered car you may have to roll the rear fenders, but if its stiffer as well as lower, you should be fine... I'll find out this summer with some proper G loads at the track Oh, and shiny wheels!

POST 7Original post

The wheels look great, but the color on that TT's got to go!

POST 8Original post

I had 315's on my Techarts. Interesting color to. What color IS it?

POST 9Original post

Those are sweet, but when I see HRE's, all I see is $$$'s. Help.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All theses forums are costing me a fortune LOL

POST 11Original post

DAM They Look Great - Can you tell me the make and model ? Daddy WANTS ! :-) Enjoy your baby looks great.

POST 12Original post

RJM - in his initial post he gave the particulars HRE 574R 19's (polished)

POST 15Original post

I had the HRE 441R on my E36 M3. 30-40 days, LOL, ya right, more like 45-60 days thats if you are lucky. It took me 10 weeks to get mine. WATCH OUT FOR THE REVERSE DROP LIP: When driving in the rain, the wheels trap water inside them and the water acts like a counter balance. The wheels jump around like they were never balanced (60mph and up)

POST 16Original post

I'm thinking about the HRE C21's myself. Any thoughts?

POST 19Original post

Those wheels are the shizzle, wow. Share the wealth - what did they set you back?

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

7K that included, a new set of chrome lug nuts, HRE polished Porsche center caps and Clear coating.

POST 22Original post

OUCH!!! I've heard of "giving an arm and a leg," but giving both nuts, too? But.... who needs nuts when you have a P-car with those wheels.

POST 23Original post

Yeah, I hear this is a BIG TIME problem. Why have an AWD car if you have to drive 45 mph in the rain. LOVE that TT color

POST 24Original post

Please post pics when you have them mounted. I have a silver car and it is making wheel decisions difficult for me. If anybody else has silver C4S pics with various wheels I would appreciate it! Steve

POST 25Original post

Those things are totally worth the money. They are SICK. I wanted them so bad when I got my car, but I could not pull the trigger. Nice work. Man, those are nice.

POST 26Original post

Well, uh, huh. Hmmmm. Errrr... 7k, huh? How would I explain that charge on the Amex? Maybe I could get those and slam some Kumho's on there to save a few bucks...

POST 27 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

but there are only two tire company's that make that size tire, Michelin and continental, I went with the continentals the michelin were $400 more

POST 28Original post

Hmm. I hope those continentals are nothing like the OEM tires which are terrible - if I was spending $7000 on wheels and tires, I probably wouldn't sweat another $400 to get significantly better tires.
